Roostar is software. It is not a broker, investment adviser, or fiduciary. You remain solely responsible for your trading decisions, broker accounts, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use Roostar. By using Roostar, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Account responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Use accurate account, billing, and broker information.
- Notify us promptly if you believe your account or device is compromised.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless prohibited by law.
3. Subscriptions, trials, and renewals
Roostar is offered on recurring subscription plans. Base and Pro may include a limited free trial period. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts to a paid monthly plan and renews automatically until canceled.
Billing is processed through Lemon Squeezy. Taxes, billing date, renewal status, cancellation state, and payment processing are handled according to Lemon Squeezy’s systems and our Refund Policy.
4. Permitted use
You may use Roostar for your internal business or personal trading workflow in accordance with these Terms, your subscription plan, and applicable law.
5. Independent software; no affiliation or endorsement
Roostar is independent software operated by Sun Ryse Software LLC. Roostar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Discord, any Discord server owner, any Discord channel owner, any alert or signal provider, any broker, X/Twitter, or any other third-party platform unless we expressly state that relationship in writing. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to access, connect, and use any third-party service, server, channel, content source, or broker account you configure with Roostar.
6. Prohibited use
- Use Roostar to violate broker rules, exchange rules, or laws.
- Use Roostar in a way that breaches Discord terms, third-party platform rules, community rules, or contractual restrictions that apply to you.
- Resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the software except as allowed by law.
- Attempt to bypass entitlement controls, subscription limits, or product safeguards.
- Upload malicious code, abuse our services, or interfere with other users or systems.
7. Trading and automation disclaimer
Roostar is an execution and workflow tool. It does not recommend trades, guarantee fills, guarantee profitability, or guarantee that any alert source is accurate or timely. Automated and semi-automated trading can lead to rapid losses, missed exits, stale fills, slippage, duplication, or execution during volatile conditions.
8. Third-party services
Roostar depends on third-party services such as brokers, Discord, Supabase, Lemon Squeezy, Cloudflare, and messaging providers. We are not responsible for their downtime, API changes, account restrictions, pricing, or data loss.
9. Software license
Roostar is licensed, not sold. Your rights to use the software are limited by these Terms, your subscription, and the separate License Agreement.
10. Intellectual property
Roostar, the Roostar name, the product branding, the website, software, product design, code, and related materials are owned by Sun Ryse Software LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the product under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
11. Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual right to use and incorporate that feedback without restriction or compensation.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud or abuse, create security risk, fail to pay, or if required by law. You may stop using the product at any time and may cancel your subscription according to the billing and refund terms.
13. Disclaimers
Roostar is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sun Ryse Software LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of trading opportunity, data loss, or business interruption arising from or related to Roostar.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims relating to Roostar will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
15. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sun Ryse Software LLC from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of Roostar, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law rules. Subject to applicable law, the exclusive venue for disputes arising out of or relating to Roostar will be the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated.
